Happy Hallows eve, This is my yearly speech about being safe on Hallows Eve. Make sure that if you are trick or treating that you ensure the candy is wrapped tight and not loosely re wrapped. Do not accept fruit or any food that is not tightly wrapped. There are some pretty evil people out there. There are SOME pagans (Magicians, witches, warlocks, etc) and people that are just down right evil that go after children. Notice I said some now. Unfortunatel y, there are no hospitals or outpatient clinics that are participating in the x-ray program in which the trick or treaters can have their candy x-rayed for free. It is a health promotion initiative to reduce the amount of peds cases related to poisoning e.g. drugs injected into the candy to get them hooked on drugs, glass, and rat poison.
