The Power of Dreaming

Happy Wellness to yall, I hope that everything is fine so far on this cold Monday afternoon :). I wanted to educate you about dreaming. Most would say this is a goal message, but no (very important I may add). When you sleep at night, your brain goes through four stages of sleeping patterns. The most important one is the Rapid Eye Movement (REM). In this stage, your body paralyzes itself to prevent you from sleep walking or acting out your dreams. Patients with this issue state “something held me down or something attacked them in my sleep.” Nope, it is your brain shutting off the power to your rest of your body causing you to lie still until the cycle is over.             Dreaming detoxes the subconscious portion of your brain (you ID personality). This portion of your brain has the ability to think outside the laws of society. Think of this as the free spirited portion of your brain. It does what it feels is right despite the laws of the land that say differently. Most people dream g
