Good Afternoon PCDI Healthcare Followers, I have asked several people about their life ambitions and I am going to ask you the same question. Have you ever thought of a career that you see yourself doing? Have you ever wondered what would it take to get there?  I sat down and thought about it myself. There are a lot of careers out there that I can see myself doing in a couple of years.  I though about become a Physical Therapist, Chiropractor, or someone that works with patients other than nurses. I want my life to have meaning and purpose before its all over in 170 years from now.  It is good to chose a career and not just a job to make a living.  There is a difference between a job and a career.  A job is a physical requirement that is rewarded by compensation. Good Morning PCDI Health care Family, Today was one of the most interesting days of my life. As a Health care Administrator, I see many people that are hurting and that can be quit mean to other people based upon their present employment.  I disturbed me to know that because a person has a service job such as a waiter, flight attendant, janitor, etc. These jobs can be perceived as less important than a CEO, doctor, or lawyer.  Most people don't realize that the service personnel is what makes the business run.  There must be mutual respect among all departments and customers. I wonder should we downgrade their feelings just because the person chooses to be in a professor that services people. No, we should embarrass a person choice to perform a career that they are comfortable with.  I would like for people to understand the person(s) that are in the helping professions and be glad that someone is doing the public a service by offering a smile and a kind wo...

Good Evening, It has been a wonderful experience taking all the aspects of class and putting it to good use.  I am still a flight attendant but venturing into a dividing street. I sure that it will all clear up in due time.  It is amazing how people may see you as you pass by or by the occupation that you are in.  Most in my opinion are stereotyping other people by trade or from what is seen on television.  Most people don't know when they see me on the plane as a flight attendant that I am the owner and founder of a world wide health care company.  The only respect I get is the fact I'm the one that serves the cokes. In my life yall there are so many roads that I have taken that are good and some have been very bumpy but I thank God for those bumps in the road because it has made me the person that I am.  I learn from alot of events in my life that now wished that I could change for the better but you can only prevent history from repeating itself.  I can actually say that I have not had a cold heart but after being hurt and put down it takes a toll on your will and emotions. I looked at the course and the course objectives for this course and I have to admit I am more able to look at life a little more differently.  I am able to handle life's event with freedom instead of this big caution sign.  I thought about this assignment pretty hard and I really was able to look at my patient population in a different way.  I am able to assess the patients spiritual health as well as their physical health in order to make a good diagnosis.  I have assessed my progress in that c...
