Good Evening and Welcome again to PCDI Healthcare Blog on mmeditation. I want to describe what meditation is in a sense. Meditation is a vase space of pure silence and concentration between you and your higher power. It is focusing on the better part of your existence and getting rid of all negative activity. meditation is your own free space and all the activity that goes on there is all hidden from the outside world. This is a change to get rid of all the baggage and thrown away all things that have bothered you today.
Ladies and gentlemen you have the power in your meditation time make your place a happy place, a place of harmony and tranquility, a place where all hurt, anger, and frustration will stop. So let yourself go and breath away all fear. That exercise is one that I am able to do everyday before starting my day. Meditation not only will build yourself esteem through out time but will make you aware of your feelings towards other during the interaction of the day.
I am reading a book in my Creating Wellness Psych class and we are going over meditation practices and how they will affect not only us but our patients. I believe meditations freed me from alot of stress on jobs that I have had. I conduct meditation so that I can be able to concentrate more on the patients need for the day. I will help me to be focus on the passing of the day and help me to relax at the end of the day. I believe that if you meditate it will help you too.
There is a saying in the book (integral Health, The Path to Human Flourishing) "one cannot lead another where one has not gone himself." This just clearly states that you can not give anyone advice about a situation that you have not gone through." It is so easy to say to a patient or a friend "oh it going to be okay." There are some situations that it will not be ok and we are lying to our patients and friends. The best advice is to be supportive and tell them that you are there for them if they need to talk.
As a health care professional and administrator, my job is to oversee many patients care at one time in many different states and countries. It my sworn duty to make sure that I grow and develop physically in maturity to handle mass care, psychologically having the rest time that I need to supervise the proper care for my patients, and spiritually being a Christian in my faith must adhere to the teaching of Christ in order to give the proper care to the patients, regardless of religion or creed.
I can say that God has a plan for all our lives we have just got to wait on him to manifest that plan. There are several avenues that we can do to prepare ourselves for missions for our lives. For example educating ourselves for the jobs ahead, planning for future for retirement, and sometimes that may include seeking our spiritual advisor for advice on how to become at peace with our maker. I want to leave you with this one note. It is better to learn something new each day then to sit in a closed box left in the dark with no window to look out of. Take care and be in good health.
